We just got a bunny, funny how it happened though.
about 2 months ago we planned on getting a bunny, and so we bought a litter box and bowls for a cage we had already. Well I went to an odd and unusual sale close by(I was not impressed to much by what I saw there either) but I had promised my daughter she could help me pick out a bunny. So we spent the day there waiting for the bunny we picked to come up for sale. she was in a tiny box with another female(both suposedly bred) but my daughter insisted, well when they came up they were sold together. we brought both of them home but I had only the one cage ready, so we went to my friends place and ended up leaving both girls there(my friend has rabbits already and had the space) we were moving and were worried that it would be to close to the bunny due date . well all said and done my friend ended up keeping both girls and we ended up with an empty cage.(she got attatched to them)
So just last week we were taking the litter box back to the store(Petland) because now we are done moving we decided to hold off till we could build a big hutch.
Well I was at where they keep the small animals and I seen some baby bunnies...cute as can be I figured my son would want to pet one, they were sortof a peachy color. so we petted and cuddled then we were going to leave I put the bunny back and OMG at the other corner of the glass cage was a grey colored lop eared Angel. I picked him/her up and as soon as she reached up and bumped my nose with hers I knew she had to come home with us. And as it so happened I had a credit note(for the litter box) with wich to pay for her.
My husband wasn\'t super happy( I always bring home animals, to soft a heart...face it I\'m a suck)
but as soon as she bumped his fingers with her nose he was gone to...
well anyways, I just took a picture today...so I hope this works.
