When I first got Cadbury she would pee in one corner and do her dropping in about the same area. I purchased a litter box and she uses it consistently for urination and was pooping in it and right outside it but recently she has began pooping ALOT more and all over her cage including inside her house. I had wondered if I was feeding her to much (I was filling her crock pot and she would empty it in a day or so)so I cut back on how much I was feeding her but nothing has changed. Should I be worried?
Rabbits should be fed only about 1 oz of pellets per lb of body weight to keep them nice and fit but not over weight. If she feels alittle chubby, cut back some - if she feels alittle skinny, add some more. Too much food can cause a greater amount of droppings - that food has to go somewhere.
I would ask your vet if you are feeding too much. It depends on the size of your rabbit.
