My cat attacked a baby rabbit. I grabbed her right away and she dropped the rabbit. When she dropped it, it started to spin and flip over and over. I put the cat in the house and examined the rabbit. It had some blood on it\'s neck but it\'s legs all move fine but it\'s neck is cocked over the the left and it won\'t/can\'t straighten it\'s neck. I put it in a shoe box and brought it in the house. I\'m hoping once it has some time to relax it\'ll be ok but it doesn\'t look good. It\'s eyes are alert and as I said it\'s legs are moving ok but it can\'t stand or walk straight. If it\'s not better in the morning I\'m taking it to the wild animal rescue place.
Are there any vets here that might be able to give me some advice?
Thanks.
Cracker,

That poor little baby rabbit has Tortucollus. Yes, please take it to wild animal rescue. Being that it is so young and vulnerable there is a very slim chance it will recover if it has not aleady succumbed to it\'s condition. I suspect it will have to be humanely euthanized. Thank you for being so kind and trying to save it though.
