My baby bunny has something wrong with her eye, and I don\'t know what. It is closed shut, and I tried to open it about a week or so ago, and it was a milky white. And it was draining out milky white stuff too. I really don\'t know what\'s wrong with her eye, can someone please help me?! Should I take her to the vet or can I fix this myself?
Please take it to the VET!! It has an eye infection. Untreated eye infections can lead to blindness. I\'m not trying to be mean.......I gotta ask you....if your eye looked like that would you want to go to the doctor\'s or would you try to fix it yourself?
Well the baby bunny opened her eye on her own, but its kinda white and looks almost like it has a bubble or something in it. I know she is blind, but should I still take her to the vet, or will it maybe fix itself like it has been?
thanks for answering. oh but do you know how much it would be to take her to the vet?
thanks

The bubble that you see on her eye is called a ULCER. They are very painful and requires medication to heal properly!! If you truely love your bunny then you would not want it to endure unnecessary pain. Please take it to the Vet, the cost should not be the main focus. My guess is that it will cost approximately $35. Not including the cost of the medication. I live in the city so the vet charges more here. Please budget for food, shelter, and your bunnies medical care because they need to see the Vet occassionally just like dogs and cats.
