I\'ve recently adopted a female rabbit as a companion to a male I\'ve had for couple years. The male is completely litter box trained, but he female isn\'t yet. The litter box is one of those small, covered plastic house/barn-shaped units that one might use for a small outside dog. My question is, is it possible or advisable to have both rabbits share the same litter box? She\'s been in it a couple of times, and he hasn\'t seemed to mind, but will she use it regularly? TIA.
My best advice is get a litter box the 2 rabbits can sit in together. My rabbits like to just hang out in there. I just took in a female bunny from a shelter for my male. I would advise spay for your female and neuter for the male. This will keep the peace because incessant mounting by the male can aggrevate your female and cause fighting and possible injuries. My male is still very spunky and doesn\'t realize his boys are no longer there. My female is very calm and cool. I am still having them bunny date. How are your two getting along? My bunnies are still housed in separate cages making cow eyes at each other in my kitchen.
Not The best Idea get them all there own cause well you know LOL
