Hello bunny owners!
I really want to adopt a bunny, but I have a few questions before i feel 100% ready.
Is it hard to take care of a bunny? I heard they can be smelly and poop a lot, any feedback or advice on this? I would appreciate any comments, advice, Im a bit scared because all the negative things I heard about having a bunny as a pet, but I really love them, just want to make sure I will be able to make my bunny happy and keep him/her healthy.
Rabbits really are a lot of work. You have to have several hours a day to care for them properly and play with them. You can not leave them for a day while you are on a trip. They do poop a lot! you have to clean out their cage at least once a week, if not twice to avoid the smell. As long as you can care for them though , a rabbit is a wonderful pet and companion. Also be prepared to care for them 5-15 years. I respect the fact that you did not simply rush out and buy a rabbit because they are cute. Thank you and let us know if you get one! : )
Grey, you are sooo right, they are loads of work, but it is worth it!!!
be my buddy!!

first of all you need to identify whether you're allergy to rabbit's fur or not. go to adoption center and pet a rabbit for a while. if you've no problem with that, than you can adopt a rabbit.
yes, they poop a lot especially the large breed. so be ready to spend your time to care for them
