Last year we bought two N. dwarf female bunnies from a breeder. They were supposedly sisters from the same kit. Eight months later we have discovered that Olivia is actually Oliver! He's been diddling with Estancia and was caught in the act!

We have purchased seperate housing for Estancia but don't know if she is pregnant. Is there a way to tell? How long is a rabbit's gestation? Are there signs to look for? Can anyone suggest a site where we could get "reliable" information and educate ourselves.

We don't want any babies as we are very happy with 2 bunnies and 2 children. Can anyone suggest the best way to get rid of the bunnies if and when they arrive. Will a pet store take them off our hands?

We had the same problem with our two "female" rabbits. ;)Now we have 7 babies. The mother rabbit and 2 of the babies were given away to someone that we know. It is not very difficult to find homes for the rabbits as they are so little and cute. Just make sure that the new owners will be able to look after them. We only gave away 3 of the rabbits because they were actually staying with my Aunt then and they were the ones who decided to give them away. We would probably still have two rabbits but.....
So, I would say that the best way to get rid of the baby buns would be to give them away to good homes.
