I picked up a girl from a farm on friday which shared a cage for six months with her sister. I decided to go back and get its sister today, and when I put it in the cage tonight the bunny immediately started mounting it repeatedly. I removed the bunny several times and each time I returned the bunny, the other bunny would remount. The bunnies are only six months old, and the farm stated that they had always shared the same cage and had assumed they were girls because they were always very close and never fought. But now I am wondering if I  might have a girl and boy bunny pair? Some articles indicate that girls will do this sometimes as well. I am new to the bunny world....any advice out there??? I just know I don't want a litter of bunnies......help!!!
If you do not want any babies, take them to the vet or any local professional rabbit sexing person. If their opposite gender, you may want to have them spayed/neutered.
