Hi all! Was this board closed for a long time? I tried to come on a couple times and it said the board was closed...

Anyway, I\'m glad it\'s back! We\'re having problems with our bunny Yuki again...

Yuki is a female hotot. She and Bonbon, who is a neutered male hotot mix, live outside in a huge hutch/run that we made for them. One day we noticed a sore on her face, sort of between her eyes. It was red like it had bled a little. Her and Bonbon do sometimes fight, we we figured he might have nipped her so we decided to watch it. Then we started noticing that Bonbon was licking around that area more than normal (he always used to groom her and lick around her eyeballs, which I thought was totally weird but have read before that it\'s normal enough so we didn\'t worry). Sometimes she would pull away and almost wince in pain. Otherwise she seemed fine, eating normally, drinking normally, normal behavior, etc.

Then I started noticing that the sore was healing over and the fur was growing back, but the sore was MOVING. It moved down her face, across her nose, and onto the other side of her face. This was all over a matter of months. Again, she doesn\'t seem sick at all. But she has this spot on her face that doesn\'t have any fur, and you can see her skin. The spot is about the size of a pea. The sore is not red, it\'s just pink like raw skin. Fur doesn\'t grow there but it regrows quickly and then there\'s a new area on her face that doesn\'t have fur.

We\'re at a loss to explain what\'s going on? Is Bonbon grooming her so vigorously that he\'s taking off skin and fur? Should we seperate them? Is it something else entirely? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!!
