I am an owner of a white rabbit with blue eyes. Someone told me that white animals with blues eyes are blind. Does that mean that my rabbit is blind and what would be some signs of blindness in rabbits? When I put my finger close to his eyes he doesn\'t even blink.
My 2 rabbits with red & black eyes do not blink their eyes when I put my finger close to their eyes too, so I think this is not a good test for blindness. Does your rabbit bump into things? Does it know where its drinking water and food are?

Rabbits don\'t blink alot unless you touch their eyelid. So, Mavis is right that putting your finger close to his eyes is probably not a good test and if it isn\'t bumping into things then I think you can rest easy that it is not blind.
