Hi, we have a 2 year old male neutered dwarf lop who lives with a neutered female, they have got on great for 1 year until yesterday when he seems really spooked and constantly chases her, then goes and hides. Can anyone give any advice as we are worried...
Is he doing this alot? Is he hurting her when he chases her?
I would think as they are one year old now even though they are neutered/spayed they are still rabbits, and rabbits on the average like to be alone. Maybe he is bored and just feels up for a chase? Maybe they feel their quarters are closing in now that they are gorwn and older. Maybe they don\'t have enough room? It is always best to sparate you know they won\'t have any problems that way. If you keep the cages together they can still \"be together\" without the drama.
There are some neat cages that have compartments, maybe so they can have their own space but still get along. Maybe put some toys in there... rubber ball, wood blocks, dog toy kind of things to keep them occupied.
