Is there such a thing as a silver and black Tri color Mini Rex?
I know this isn\'t on the recognized colors list, but we bought a doe tonight that is white with blk and silver spots. The silver is not mingled through the blk it is distinct silver areas beside the blk. I can take a picture and show you if you need me to.

Thanks
Could you possibly have a Broken Magpie? A Tri is essentially a broken Harlequin. Magpie is a Harlequin with the orange/fawn color replaced with white.

She has a couple of the silver or blue spots on her rump that don\'t show in the pics. These were just quickie pics to show you what I am talking about.
On her sires side of the pedigree it\'s full of Tri\'s, On her Dam\'s pedigree it is full of blues, solid and broken and 1 blk solid.
You have a light-marked Broken. I have seen that type of effect on a few Brokens before. Now, she can possibly throw Broken Magpies (unrecognized) down the line if bred to a Tri.

Chances are she would be DQ\'d for foreign color in the patterned areas (with the blue spots you mentioned). I know a prominant Mini Rex breeder in AZ who had a buck with this same silvery effect surrounding the patterned areas. This buck had awesome type. About half the shows he was DQ\'d and other times faulted for the effect.
