A 20 - 21 ga. needle would be the appropriate size to deliver Penicillin-G in rabbits.

Hi Charlcie,
thanks for the info. I spoke with a coupleof breeders and they said to use pen-g on a couple of rabbits that I had shipped to me 2 days ago. I noticed sneezing and a white nasal discharge, which now looks more clear. It was -25 when they were shipped so not sure if they would have caught a cold or if it was worse. The rabbit that wasn\'t shipped was fine. I of course had quarentined them as soon as they got home with me..

It\'s a good thing you have quarrantined them. Unfortunately, if it\'s Snuffles, the Pen-G won\'t cure it. It might get better temporarily, but will tend to return. I would place solid metal dividers between these rabbits and others just in case. Continue to watch them.

yes, I know,,and I\'m hoping it isn\'t snuffles,
they are quarentined on a different level of the house, so they won\'t come in contact with my others..
