i don\'t know if my bunnies are just stupid or what but they always pee and poop in one corner of the cage and it builds up really bad what my problem is. the pee and poop keeps building up and no matter how many time\'s i clean it out they always go in the same spot i need some advice as to how to stop this build up of manure
I think most rabbits do that purposely so as to keep their \"scent\" in one spot to avoid predators picking up their scent. Its very innate and natural.
As for the corner thing, I don\'t know why they like corners, but they do. Petey loves to sit in a corner (which is usually where he belongs!), chew in a corner, dig in a corner, and yes, go to the bathroom in the corner.
Maybe you could put a litter box in the corner to catch the mess.
Some of my rabbits poop and urinate in one corner of their cage. Just keep the cage clean by cleaning the poop and urine away.
