I got a membership with the ARBA and got my membership card this past week and am still waiting on the handbook and all.
I sent off the paperwork and fee to register my rabbitry name with them. About how long does it take until you hear back on if the rabbitry name was accepted?
I checked on the ARBA site to see if the name I chose was taken and it wasn\'t.
I have my paperwork filled out to join the NMRRC. Need to get that mailed in. Can anybody tell me of any other Mini Rex rabbit clubs that are out there?
I can\'t find a local one at this point. Maybe I\'m not looking in the right place.
I\'ve decided to devote my attention 100% to Mini Rex.
So all the Jersey Woolies are being sold. I have 4 leaving today for new homes. So that leaves me two of them.
I\'ve begun working on a website devoted to the rabbits and as soon as I get that done I\'ll let you all check it out.
It\'s taking me forever as I\'m learning as I go. My husband is the wiz at computers but I\'m wanting to have a go at this website all on my own. I\'ll be surprised if I have any hair by the time I\'m done. Big Grin
It took a while for them to put my rabbitry name on their website when I registered it. I receive a certificate long before it was posted. The book you will get from ARBA has a great genetics chapter and other good information. As for mini rex clubs, here some links and email addresses for clubs in North Carolina:

Here\'s a website with a lot of different rabbits clubs in your area:

Besides the my state\'s mini rex club, I also joined my state\'s general rabbit breeders club. Hope the info helps!!
You are headed in the right direction by joining the ARBA, now you can earn legs at shows and register and grand champion out your cute rabbits. The bi-monthly magazine is nice also, it has articles that sometimes help. When I joined it all came at the same time but that was 10 years ago. I am anxious to see how well your site looks. Let me know when it is done. I would also love to see the picture of your bald head! HA! Tony
Im looking forward too seeing your website.i also did my own website.im not very computer savy but i followed the instructions and i did it by myself.bluebird
