I took a look at the heath concerns part of your website but could not find one that would explain what is happening to my dwarf rabbit, Wally. He has had a problem with residue building up in a light green shade in the middle of his eye for numerous months now, which I remove for him once in awhile as needed. Now there is a new symptom, he is loosing his hair in a vertically 1.5 inch to horizontal 0.75 inch patch between his eyes. It reveals close to white skin with black blotches. I just lost my job and cannot take him to the vet. Please give me any advice that u can!

Do you only have one bunny? when i had a friend of mine\'s buck staying with me, he would pull out my doe\'s hair in exactly the same place you are describing - and not through mating either. it might be a sign of affection or too much grooming from another bunny. if you only have him, then i don\'t know what it is, but will search the web and have a look.
Just read up that it is an infection that your bunny has in his eyes - apparently the medication \"baytril\" will help. it could also be an obstruction in his tear duct - have a look and see if you can find anything

thank you so much for your help! the bunny is in a cage with a chinchilla, they get along well, although i have noticed them cuddling which is new. maybe it could be him, i\'ll watch them more carefully.
