I took a look at the heath concerns part of your website but could not find one that would explain what is happening to my dwarf rabbit, Wally. He has had a problem with residue building up in a light green shade in the middle of his eye for numerous months now, which I remove for him once in awhile as needed. Now there is a new symptom, he is loosing his hair in a vertically 1.5 inch to horizontal 0.75 inch patch between his eyes. It reveals close to white skin with black blotches. I just lost my job and cannot take him to the vet. Please give me any advice that u can!

You can purchase eye ointment at your local feed store. Your bunny may have an infection or allergy. Eliminate hay and see if that helps. The hair loss could be due to rubbing from the discomfort. Or it can be due to fungus. Dab some Listerine mouth antiseptic on it and see if that helps. The best thing to do would be to take the bunny to the vet, but if you cannot, try these things.
