Normal and regular nail trimming is recommended. It can be professionally done for approximately $12.00 Do not attempt to do it yourself if you don\'t have any experience as many people cut into the \"quick\" and make them bleed. May I ask why you would want to be cruel and declaw your unny? Do you want to declaw your dog? I hope your answer to both is NO!
Use a pen to contain your bunny while your dog is on the outside and see how they take to each other. Also put a cardboard box inside the pen for a \"safe place\" for your bunny to go if it is scared. Barking, chasing, etc can frighten your bunny to death or cause so much stress that bring on other health problems. Bonding another bunny or any other kind of animal to your bunny can take awhile or they may not tolerate one another very well at all. Responsible pet ownership means that you take precautions and should be prepared in case your bunny and your dog have to live seperately. Good luck and I hope they will become pals but if not, love them equally as individuals.
