Well…Vana (one of my Red Mini Satins) had 3 kits this morning - 2 Reds and 1 Copper. She insisted on kindling on the floor, but I did anticipate that so I had placed LOTS of hay on the cage floor. One of the Reds was stillborn, but a Copper & Red are alive (so far). I moved them to the nest box so we’ll have to see if she takes care of them. It’s so cold I don’t know if the 2 can keep warm enough. Will just have to see.
