Here are new pictures of the lightest colored rabbit. I think the color is lynx now because the belly, inside of ears, around eyes, and nostrils are all white. This rabbit is so cute! I took pictures of it being cradled so you could see the belly color.Shy

These are new pictures of the darker colored rabbit. It\'s definately black tort like its mom. Another very cute bunny! The problem with baby bunnies is that they\'re so cute that I want to keep them all and well...that\'s just not possible.Rolleyes

Sadly, the meduim colored rabbit died the morning after I posted that earlier post with the 3 bunnies together. I\'m glad I got some pictures before it died. Sad
your babies are absolutely beautiful - that first picture is a keeper!
Now that this baby is older, I\'m hoping to find out for sure what color it is. Another breeder of hollands in our area said that it was a fawn by the pictures that I showed when the baby was about 10 days old. Well, the baby opened it\'s eyes and the eyes are blue-gray and fawn eyes are supposed to be brown. I\'m including 2 new pictures for anyone to tell me what color this bunny is. I\'m not sure of lynx now because it looks more fawn. The underside of belly, underside of tail, and inside of ears are white. The body is fawn with lilac intermingled if you hold it up to the light then you can see it. The top of the tail and outside of ears are lilac. Although in this picture the ears look more fawn than lilac. Is it possibly a nonshowable color?[attachment=354][attachment=355]

New pictures of our Holland Lop bunnies. I\'m still not sure of the color on the lighter bunny. All I know for sure is that he\'s one cute bunny!
In the standard of perfection there is a color called cream in hollands, they have blue gray eyes and white undersides. He looks really creamy colored in the pictures. And your right he is a doll! Maybe that\'s his color? Or maybe he will be named mystery. : )

I think maybe cream too except for those very faint tort like markings on his sides and top of his tail. I guess maybe that could be considered smut? Well anyways, my children are taking him to a 4h show on Friday and they are going to ask the judge if he\'s a cream with smut or an unshowable color. So I\'ll keep you posted on the judges opinion. My children have named the cream bunny Cappucino and the black tort Mocha. They both have great personalities, but Cappucino could definately win over the toughest critics! He is a doll!
I tell you what...we\'ve never gone back and forth on the color of a bunny before until this little Holland. We thought lynx, some sort of tort, fawn, cream, unshowable color...well, we\'re back from the show and it was agreed upon by those present that the mystery bunny color is actually a lynx. At least we know now...:rolleyes:Thanks for everyone\'s thoughts on our bunnies color throughout this learning process.Smile
Sure is a pretty bunny. So Lynx is the color, hmmmmm. You talk about the smut and I notice the nose looks bluish as well. That\'s exactly how the fawn bunny in this Mini Rex litter I have now is. So is that an indication she isn\'t a Fawn but a Lynx?
Our bunny has a very light bluish ticking over the entire coat that the camera doesn\'t ever pick up. I think that\'s why it is sometimes hard to tell the color by a picture. He does have a bluish nose, and the top of his tail is lilac (bluish) also. He seems to have have more of a lilac look to him around the base of him like a tort. So maybe you could consider lynx for your bunny. The color of the eyes could probably tell you for sure. I think (I don\'t have my ARBA book in front of me) that a fawn would have brown eyes and a lynx would have blue/gray eyes?
That description sure sounds like a Lynx to me and yes...they have blue-gray eyes.
