The rabbit may just ADORE peanuts, but peanuts are high in fat and very low in fiber - NOT a very healthy treat for a rabbit.
Stick to fruit and veggies in moderation (avoiding iceburg lettuce and gassy veggies), grass or timothy hay, and a good quality pellet, limit-fed.

We have some friends who stay on a farm with plenty bunnies and they recommend that we do not feed our pets peanuts. they can choke and they are not healthy, as Charlcie says. there are so many fruit and veggies you can feed them - from apples, carrots and bananas to strawberries, celery and brocolli. Blue berries, oranges, melon and plums are also good for bunnies.

I agree with those in above posts. Just one more comment. Don\'t give the seeds of apples, plums or oranges to rabbits as they are not safe.
