The pet store I buy Petey\'s natural clay litter for his box was out of this product and the lady at the pet store recommended Feline Pine. She said it was perfectly safe for rabbits.

Its a heat-treated pine pellet product that dissolves down to almost nothing apparently. Its even flushable she said.

Anyone use this? Is it safe?

I have used it before and I believe it is safe. A similar product is wood pellets. They are somewhat hard to find, but they are much cheaper to use if you can find them, and they work great. In my area they are sold at a store called \"Mills Fleet Farm.\" They are sold only during the winter and are used for fuel in wood burning stoves.
