i guess i didn\'t cross my fingers enough she had 7 babies all on the wire and today was the coldest day yet it was 20 degrees when i got home i kindof figured she would have them on the wire at least i know that she\'s a breeder
So sorry to hear that. That\'s so sad.

Ahhhhhhh sorry to hear that. I\'m sad for you.
wishing you all the luck for healthy babies!
so sorry - not easy. my doe had babies 2 weeks ago...3 died and one lucky guy lived.
Breeding is so very uncertain. My Mini Satin litter born on Sunday, did not survive.
Two kits could just not generate enough heat to withstand the cold, even if Mom did pull extra fur that night (apparently too late). It happens.
Rebreed your doe right away. (She will be receptive and at her most fertile.) I have some tips to help save kits that may be born on the wire. Post again when she is near her next delivery date.

well i had another doe that unexpectantly had babies the same day but she had a cage with a built in nest box with her and she made a great nest and had 8 plump healthy californian babies so it wasn\'t to bad of a day thanks for the words of comfort though i hate to loose baby bunnies.
and i re bred the doe to a harlequin yesterday as soon as i could i\'ll post agian when she is close
