This is a Clover and she\'ll be having her first litter in a couple of weeks. We\'re hoping for some tri\'s.

[attachment=291]

This is Confetti and he\'s the sire to Clover\'s upcoming litter.

[attachment=292]

This is Thumper and he\'s the proud Daddy of our newest kit (the broken opal) and also the sire to May\'s upcoming kits.

[attachment=293]

This is May and she\'ll also be having her first kits in a couple of weeks from Thumper. We\'re hoping for broken castors.

[attachment=294]

This is Shooting Star and she\'s the Momma to our little broken opal and to the kits we had in the spring. She got in a better show position than our other rabbits for the picture. She\'s a real sweatheart!

[attachment=295]

This is Carrot and she also had kits in the spring. She\'s a little tempermental when it\'s time to breed. In fact, this last time that we tried she was down right hateful about it. She\'s very dominant so we\'ll probably not even try to breed her again. Poor little Thumper had his feelings quite hurt!

Well, that\'s the rest of our rabbits. Besides these 6, we have the 2 Holland Lops and the 3 week old broken opal Mini Rex. As soon as we have all of our new kits, I\'ll post more pictures.
Can\'t wait to see what Clover has! Does Confetti carry for the dilute gene?
Confetti is a blue/fawn tri. He\'s a charlie, but he has a nice body type so that\'s why we kept him from the litters we had in the spring for breeding purposes. Since he is a charlie, he isn\'t used to show position as you can tell from the picture, but when we work with him, he has real nice type. He has some blue/fawn tris and harlequins in his pedigree along with broken red and broken black. Clover has been shown a few times by my daughter and she\'s placed in the top few in her variety, but no big wins. She\'s a little big in the shoulder area. Hopefully she\'ll have at least one nice tri that gets its type from Confetti. I\'ll post pictures when they\'re born.
Very nice bunnies! I love that picture of Thumper! Smile
Thumper is one of my favorites! Probably because we looked forever for a solid castor and finally found him less than an hours drive from our house. His coat is the softest that I\'ve ever felt and it\'s such a beautiful color! You know...now that I think about it...maybe they\'re all my favorite Wink
Does the one named Clover have tri in her background? If so how much? We have a blue doe who has half a pedigree of tri and the other blue and we want to introduce the blue/fawn tri colors into our lines and she was our prime candidate. So I will see what you get. You can be our guinea pig,HA! I love the tri color mini rex guy. Let us know when it happens. Tony Artist, Artist Rabbitry
Actually, Clover has tri and harlequin background also like Confetti (neither parent has half a pedigree of tri though). The reason we\'re hoping for tris is because of the tri and harlequin background in both parents background. It\'s an experiment for us also so we\'ll keep you posted.
Oops...I forgot to answer your question, \"How much tri?\" Clover has 2 tris on her pedigree. With only 2, that\'s why I said it\'s an experiment.Big Grin
Good luck...hope you get those Tri\'s! I\'ll be so jealous. But in a good way. I can\'t wait to get a hold of my very own Tri\'s. Still looking...sigh.
That will be neat to see just exactly what you get. Tri colors are just so unique and that is why they are one of my favorite colors. We have a couple litters now with some in them. One was just born today. Anxious to see how they turn out. Tony Artist, Artist Rabbitry
