Most post I read here and elsewhere talk about feeding rabbits Timothy Hay but around my past of Texas we feed our horses Coastal Hey, Is this ok to feed the Holland Lops I\'ll soon be getting! Just trying to be prepared!Smile

Thank You!
Coastal Hay is great, Mike. The most important reason to feed hay is the roughage it provides.

Thank You! Charlcie
I thought it would be fine but just wanted to make sure. Guessing with tiny Bunnies can often be fatal, Right! Big Grin
You\'re right, Mike.

I\'m glad you\'re researching on the do\'s and don\'ts of rabbit raising. Unfortunately, we get a lot of posts on this board regarding problems folks are having with their rabbits because they DIDN\'T do that.

Good luck. Smile Are your girls in 4-H by any chance?

Yes M\'am! Charlcie
They are HomeSchooled country girls, that just started 4H last year with their horses.

May I ask another ? is it easier to use J-clips or C-rings when enlarging an existing cage. I have 8- 18 x 24 x 18H cages and I\'d like to remove a couple of the middle sections to make Breeding Cages 32 x24 x 18H ?
Good for you and your girls! I\'ve been a volunteer in the 4-H program for over 20 years - It\'s GREAT!

Well...I guess it would depend on what you\'re use to using. I use J-clips, so that\'s what I\'d suggest. My guess is though that C-clips might be easier to remove if that were necessary, so you might want to lean in that direction. It\'s probably 6 of one; half a dozen of the other...
