I\'ve read about a lot of toys they might like, but I\'d like to hear what fellow rabbit owners have to say. I gave my rabbit, Bandit, a ball with a bell inside it, but he has little to no interest in it.
Hi!

My bunnies like willow wreaths and the huge willow ball, but their ultimate favorite is the cardboard \"Cottontail Cottage.\" Check out the website Bunny Bytes Outfitters for the Urban Rabbit if you need more ideas.
Hi! We make and sell toys on our website. We have ones that hang in the rabbit cage as well as gnaw toys. Our rabbits love them!! They love to grab the bells on the hanging toys and make them ring as well as chewing on the wooden pieces. In fact, my bunny beside me is having a hayday as I write this. You can view our toys at http://www.verlannahill.com and click on Verlannahill Creations. Thanks!!
Thinngs like keyrings that your bunny can toss make great toys. You canget these for rabbits , or, i gave my frends rabbit one that was a hard plastic baby keys, and he LOVEs them. I also got one for my bun make with rope and wood keys. Wooden toss toys are great, as well as large rubber balls that they cant break to nudge around. Cardboard tunnels too.

My dear rabbit\'s favorite toy is an empty paper toilet roll!
My rabbits loved to play with baby toys such as plastic keys and rattles and also some cat toys when they were little. Now that they are older, they don\'t touch their toys anymore. I cut pieces of apple or liliac branches and wash them like I would wash fruit. They chew the bark off and throw the sticks around their cage. Be carefull, not all trees are good for rabbits so check first.
you dont need to spend any money on toys for a rabbit...empty paper towel or toilet paper rolls work well,,,, an old wooden dowel rod, not painted...a stick from outside, cleaned off...a small ball...a pvc pipe...a cardboard box (the best things cuz they can climb in out on and over and around them) a pair of old socks...to toss around and cuddle (mine likes old throw rugs you can buy at dollar store for like a dollar a piece) .... things like this make the best toys and dont cost anything....except the rug but we gave ours a ujsed one...hey even an old bath towel works great...they toss it around and cuddle in it...

wave of fire
We just bought our bun a few different types of toys. one was a rattle with some hair sticking off the one end to throw and grab it by(made for bunnies), she chewed it all off and doesn\'t touch it now.
another was a hard plastic/rubber dog ball with a little motion sensor light in it...she ABSOLUTLY HATES that one. I was also a little unsure weather or not itcould possibly cause seisures with the flashing light so we watched carefully with it and didn\'t leave it in her cage, but it turned out to be a poor choice.
I bought a small stuffy for her it is a dog chew toy so non toxic material and nothing that would fall off to harm her(like eys of a teddy bear might) we have not given it to her yet, but my other bunny used to have a pink cheeta he used to carry around and snuggle with(also being a boy he did other things to it to) so it was something we touched as little as possible. It was strange at first watching him drag this stuffed toy around, but he loved it to peices(didn\'t much care for the other animals we had but that stuffy went everywhere with him) and that is suposed to be fairly normal for some rabbits.

I tried the baby key chain toy, but our bunny just chewed chunks off of it, so I snagged a parrot toy that was on sale(harder material, can handle more chewing) I find toilet paper rolls are good for short term but get chewed up fast...
however the big thick rolls you get the wider masking tape on seems to hold up quite a bit.( I snag them from work when they use up the roll of tape)
we are still experimenting with toys and the like to.
Our bunny isn\'t getting tons of out time right now because I have been working nights and then have the kids during the day(so 2-3 hours sleep for me), so it is going slower than hoped for to bunny proof things, so I am really trying to keep her occupied at least somewhat during the day. as soon as I get things fixed up though she will be in a bigger cage and be able to come out to play more, then we will be able to try more things that need extra room (like the phone book in a digging box for her)

Let me know what you find that works.

hope this little bit(well maybe more than little bit looking back at this big long post) helps.

I have to add a word of warning in regards to letting rabbits have anything cardboard for play toys. I had let my first bunny have the run of \"her\" room while I was a work. In her room was a large roll from a carpet remnant. Needless to say she enjoyed chewing on it more than rolling it around. Unfortunately she had ingested a large portion of the cardboard
and became impacted. Her surgery was not sucessful, so I suggest keeping a very watchful eye on your bunnies if you choose to let them play with anything cardboard.
Thanks for the warning. I have never heard of a rabbit with a cardboard problem before. My female likes to chew up carpet and I have had to remove cat condos from my rabbits\' area, a popular rabbit toy these days.
