RE: Am I feeding Lucy the right food???
I feed my bunny endless amounts of pellets each day, but she aint fat! one bowl (1/4 cup) will last her 2 days sometimes, but her bowl is never empty. I feed her apples and carrots and sometimes bananas at the same time, but not often, only every 3 days or so. Don\'t know why your bunny is doing this, maybe she is just a glutton!

RE: Am I feeding Lucy the right food???
How big of a rabbit/breed is Lucy? It doesn\'t sound like she is eating too much. Veggies aren\'t a high caloric food for the most part. What types of veggies are you feeding and how much? What are the indicators your rabbit is fat? (I know that might sound like a silly question, but a lot of people have different perceptions of \'fat\'.)
What sort of pellets are you feeding? What is the protein percentage? Overfeeding protein can cause an overweight condition. A pet rabbit (not being bred or shown) can get away with 12-14% protein, whereas a production animal or one that is young and growing needs at least 16%.
